On 24 November, we will be launching a new dedicated Business Engagement Centre in the current hot desk space on the second floor, to strengthen our business support offering.
The Business Engagement Centre is a unique partnership between the 3M BIC, the University of Huddersfield and NPL North of England, providing a one-stop-shop for business support for tenants, network members and other organisations in the greater Leeds City Region.
The centre will bring together professional, academic, technical and business support to address the bespoke needs of all businesses.
It will also provide access to the University of Huddersfield’s schools and business development managers, where businesses can benefit from R&D support, and KTP and student placement opportunities.
Those seeking more technical support can tap into the technology team at the 3M BIC that specialises in 3D technology as well as access NPL North of England’s expertise, including metrology, CMM programming, and bespoke measurement training and consultancy.
The Business Engagement Centre will also draw on the capabilities of specialists and professionals that are part of the 3M BIC’s growing network membership, and associated partners, facilitating business to business and business to professional collaborations.
