On 14 July, the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) hosted a successful pop-up café at the 3M BIC, which gave SMEs access to experts for advice and funding to help grow their business.

Local specialists were on hand to provide advice from marketing and design, export trade, finance, business planning, legal issues and innovation, as well as funding for business.

Experts included: Steven Holmes from Armstrong Watson; Katrina Cliffe, founder of KC Communications; Steve Bradley from Pennine Business Partners; Annie Bradley of UK Trade & Investment UKTI, and Stewart Leahy from The Design Mechanics.
