Are you looking to develop a new or existing product? Do you want to increase productivity and efficiency? Do you want to follow in the footsteps of Netflix, Deliveroo and Amazon and create a business model that disrupts your industry and makes you a leader in your field? Or do you simply want a sneak peak at what goes on behind the doors at the 3M BIC?
Then Innovation Week at the 3M BIC is for you.
The 3M BIC’s inaugural Innovation Week takes place 4th – 8th November and is designed to give you the tools to innovate, whether it’s product development, improving service processes or creating a business model that will affect change within your industry.
Hear from industry experts including 3M and Siemens, around successful innovation and how to adopt innovative practices, as well as Roger Marsh from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership around its Local Industrial Strategy. Our in-house lead design and visualisation specialist, Paul Tallon, will outline the principles of generative design linked to leading edge additive manufacturing to help reduce waste and increase efficiency.
A drop-in session will also provide an opportunity to gain access to academics and researchers from the University of Huddersfield to discuss potential collaborative opportunities. Expertise includes: data analytics, logistics and supply chain, technical textiles, product design, management and strategy, rail, Computational Fluid Dynamics, applied microbiology, and media and spreadable marketing, plus much more.
