Make more, waste less, grow!

October 18, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join NPL for the launch of the SME Manufacturers Measurement Network and hear from Red Bull Racing about how excellence in measurement underpins their F1 racing cars. Learn more about GD&T in manufacturing and how appropriate training can make a positive contribution to your profits. Meet representatives from Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Ametek Taylor Hobson, Aberlink and Zeiss.
The application of good measurement practice within a manufacturing environment can have a significant effect on improvements to product quality, reduction in waste and costs and increased efficiencies. Ultimately this leads to greater profits and opens up new business opportunities with new customers and / or new markets. NPL are working with SME manufacturers to achieve these improvements by providing local access (via their North of England hub located in Huddersfield) to expertise, state-of-art equipment and facilities, training and problem resolution services. The new network has been designed to make access to this support as simple and as low cost as possible (Tier 1 membership will be free of charge) – more information will be given at the event.
If you work in manufacturing, believe that your business has the potential to improve and become more competitive, then this event is for you.
Make more, waste less, grow ! takes place at the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre in Huddersfield on 18th October between 1730 and 2000 (1630 for optional laboratory tours). All attendees will be presented with the NPL ‘Little big book of metrology’.
