Learn what is shaping the industry and gain new insight around formulation testing, product development, innovation and R&D.

The event is designed to update businesses within the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors on new developments driving the future of the industries.

It will consist of talks from Sue Cooke, CEO of the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre, Dr Hamid Merchant, Subject Leader in Pharmacy and Prof Laura Waters, Professor of Pharmaceutical Analysis, both from the University of Huddersfield.

Businesses from the chemical and pharmaceutical industries based at the 3M BIC will also be taking part in the Q&A panel, alongside key speakers.

The event will cover advice and support for the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, research and business support opportunities with the University, as well as tours of the facilities in the 3M BIC, which houses scanning and visualisation technology, microscopy facilities, and industrial polymer and metal 3D printers.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please note there is no parking available at the 3M BIC. The nearest car park is the NCP Colne Road West, which is a 5-minute walk from the centre.
