We start 3M BIC Innovation Week with an exhibition of product designs created by University of Huddersfield students. The designers have been invited to showcase their product innovations which have the prospect to be commercialised in the fast-evolving business world.
The shortlisted designs will be assessed by guest judges from innovative companies including 3M, Mamas & Papas, Elmwood and Siemens, who will be looking for the best designs in these categories:
- Most innovative product design (3M)
- Design with best application to technology (Siemens)
- Design with most commercial protentional (Mamas & Papas)
- Design with best visual presentation (Elmwood)
- Best overall design (3M BIC)
The winners will each receive a 3M BIC Innovation Award and an expenses paid studio visit to the sponsoring company to gain valuable industry insights and contacts. The awards will take place on 5 November 2019.
The exhibition will be on display in the 3M BIC Atrium throughout Innovation Week from 4th – 8th November 2019. Open to the public 8am – 5pm.
