This half day workshop will give you an introduction to Strategic Roadmapping – a process that enables companies to explore opportunities, threats and trends in their market and to identify product, service, technology and supply chain issues for development.
Strategic Roadmapping is a powerful technique developed originally by Motorola in the 1970s, and is widely recognised as an innovative way to drive and support strategy development and deployment. It takes into account wider market forces, current products, services and resources, to help you develop a plan that is driven by future customer need and new technology.
This workshop will take you through the process of creating a ‘strategic landscape’ which describes how the company, markets and overall business environment will or may change, typically over a 10 year timescale.
You will then prioritise those opportunities or threats which are most pertinent, and create action plans to exploit or avoid them.
