Businesses in and around the Leeds City Region have access to a one-stop-shop that caters for all aspects of technical and business support based at the pioneering 3M Buckley Innovation Centre (3M BIC) in Huddersfield.

Part of a unique partnership between the 3M BIC, the University of Huddersfield and NPL North of England, the Business Engagement Centre is a local business support hub for organisations in the Leeds City Region (Kirklees, Calderdale, Wakefield, Bradford and Leeds), and is designed to address the bespoke needs of all businesses, bringing together professional, academic and business support.

This business support hub provides a single point of access for the University of Huddersfield, giving businesses a foot in the door to the University’s schools, benefitting from R&D support, KTP opportunities and student placements.

Those seeking more technical support can tap into the technology team at the 3M BIC, that specialise in 3D technology, as well as access NPL North of England’s expertise, including metrology, CMM programming, and bespoke measurement training and consultancy.

The Business Engagement Centre also draws on the capabilities of specialists and professionals that are part of the 3M BIC’s growing network membership, as well as its associated partners.
