Bob’s Business is excited to announce that it has been nominated for the prestigious Pitch@Palace People’s Choice Award.
Following on from the successful pitch of Bob’s Business founder and CEO, Melanie Oldham, at the University of Huddersfield in February, Melanie was selected to pitch amongst 41 other promising entrepreneurs at the Pitch@Palace 9.0 Boot Camp, held at the University of Manchester on the 13 March.
Melanie is now invited to pitch for 30 seconds at the Pitch@Palace 9.0 Final on the 25 April, taking place at the illustrious St James Palace, where an audience vote will then decide the overall winner.
Pitch@Palace was founded by The Duke of York in 2014 to promote entrepreneurship in the UK and around the world, providing entrepreneurs with the opportunity to pitch their innovative business ideas in front of an influential audience from the worlds of entrepreneurship, technology, media, and investment.
The theme for Pitch@Palace 9.0 is Data, Intelligence and The Future of Security, focusing on key areas such as CyberSecurity, The Cloud, and the Internet of Things.
Alongside the overall winner of the Pitch@Palace 9.0, the event provides all participating entrepreneurs with the opportunity to claim the People’s Choice Award, allowing entrepreneurs to promote their involvement with Pitch@Palace and raise broader awareness of their business through a public vote.
Bob’s Business provides cyber security e-Learning and phishing services that help to demystify the subject of information security, often thought of as an inaccessible and dry subject. The company aims to change employee behaviours and instill a secure workplace culture through the use of engaging and memorable training modules.
Bob’s Business would be extremely grateful if you could take a minute of your time to support Melanie and the rest of the team by voting for them.
