Cyber security awareness training provider, Bob’s Business, has achieved G-Cloud 8 approval allowing the business to expand further into Government services via the digital marketplace.
Building on this huge achievement, there are hopes that it will provide a boost for the technology industry in the region and further room to grow the company through a commitment to training and employing more local residents in an ever growing sector.
Managing director of Bob’s Business, Melanie Oldham, said: “G-Cloud 8 provides us with the opportunities to compete with the large organisations when it comes to government contracts.
“We have already proved we can work with government organisations as our largest client is in the public sector, so any opportunities we can take to expand further in governmental services we are going to jump at the chance.”
Public sector organisations across the board, including education, health, emergency services and defence, can access the digital marketplace to purchase services from government-approved suppliers.
Bob’s Business has also been accredited by Cyber Essentials and IASME after completing the self-assessment in July. These new government accreditation demonstrates that Bob’s Business possesses the required barriers to successfully stop the majority of cyber attacks that could possibly target the organisation.
