For the last four years, 3M BIC tenant Adventoris has experienced 100% growth per annum and in 2020 continued along this trajectory, growing its sales team, marketing team, software development and implementation team, and is winning new clients at a record pace.
It has been an incredibly challenging time for many businesses, especially those who depend on external sales teams to go out and physically take orders face to face, or those in industries severely affected by the lockdown situation, such as food and drink or construction.
Working closely with many of these industries, Adventoris has been able to offer its SwiftCloud app as a solution, allowing businesses to get their products moving.
The team has also been working hard on a new aspect of SwiftCloud, a ‘B2C module’, which supports businesses that stock restaurants with drinks and fresh produce.
As the majority of restaurants, cafes and food vendors have been forced to close during lockdown, some of the food and drink manufacturers and suppliers have had to make a quick shift to selling their products directly to the consumer, rather than sticking to their regular wholesale model, to help them survive.
The SwiftCloud B2C module helps businesses via a branded app which lets them continue to offer their products to consumers and has proved a popular solution to those in the food and drink industry.
In terms of its own customer base, over the last year Adventoris has gained numerous well-known clients who now offer their branded app powered by SwiftCloud, such as leading stationery brand STAEDTLER and drinks manufacturer AG BARR.
Three new members of staff have also been recruited to its growing implementation team. Implementors ensure that the building of each app runs as smoothly as possible, guiding clients through the entire process from inception to the app eventually going live in the app store.
They are also currently recruiting for a new member of the marketing team who will assist with the scale up and overall marketing strategy going forward into 2021.
Due to its growing team, Adventoris has just acquired a new office space at the 3M BIC, which takes it up to six offices in total within the building, with plans to take on more in the near future.
The team at Adventoris continues to work with its clients to ensure their ordering processes are as effective as possible during this challenging year. The company’s greatest success during this time is simply a biproduct of its ambition to ensure B2B companies across the UK and beyond are operating as well and as resourceful as they can be with SwiftCloud.
