3M BIC recognised in Government review

The 3M Buckley Innovation Centre (3M BIC) has featured in the Government’s independent review of industrial digitalisation, Made Smarter Review 2017, led by Professor Juergen Maier, CEO Siemens UK.

The Made Smarter (previously Industrial Digitalisation) Review sets out how UK manufacturing can be transformed through the adoption of industrial digital technology (IDT), focusing on three priority areas identified as the three main challenges business face – Leadership, Adoption and Innovation.

3M BIC was identified as a Digital Innovation Asset in the North West region, where a National Adoption Programme pilot is being launched focusing on increasing capacity of existing growth hubs and providing more targeted support.
